Launch interMission

"At last! An opportunity for young adults to grapple with issues of life, faith and mission in a supportive, challenging and stimulating environment! I am delighted to endorse Intermission as a strategic and timely initiative for a crucial age group, and confidently recommend both the content and course leaders to you. I am sure that Intermission will prove to be a valuable and life changing experience for all those who embark on it, and a great gateway for young people into a mature faith which will engage significantly with the world."

Merrilyn Withers
National Youth Consultant - Baptist Youth Ministries

intermission is a gap year for those into mission.

intermission is for followers of Jesus who want to "give one year in service to God and to those God calls you to serve."

intermission is a gap year for those at the quarter life stage (17-22) needing to prepare for the next quarter of their lives.

intermission is a time for re-evaluation of life direction, rethinking of worldviews, refueling for discipleship, and reordering of priorities.

intermission will be a community and team event with personal mentoring.

intermission will take you to places where you may never have been before: prisons, refugee centers, Islamic mosques, Hindu Temples, poor neighborhoods, bi-cultural communities, Pacific nations, work environments, and you name it.

intermission will ask of you to critically reflect on action, to think through what you've been exposed to, so as to reconsider how you will do discipleship in the 21st Century.

intermission has the potential to become "the acceptable Year of our Lord".
